What is this world coming to?
A Japanese woman who formed part of a virtual game ended up killing her virtual husband. She became so angry that she illegally obtained access to his online account and terminated him. See article at: Virtual Murder

This is really funny “The woman had not plotted any revenge in the real world, the official said (…)The man complained to police when he discovered that his beloved online avatar was dead.” I wonder if the reactions would have been the same if the roles were changed: the woman’s avatar killed – would she have asked for protection? Would the authorities listen to her charges and arrest the man?
I doubt it! But let’s be fair: men need more protection, don’t they?!:-)
